On August 21, 2025 , the historic Roosevelt Pools in Warm Springs officially reopened with a stirring ribbon-cutting ceremony. Spearheaded by Prime Contractors, Inc. and managed expertly by Gary Frantz , this restoration project rejuvenated the iconic site where President Franklin D. Roosevelt once sought healing and found inspiration for national change. Restoring a Historic Oasis Once suffering deterioration and unable to hold water, the pools have now been lovingly restored, both structurally and contextually, preserving their spirit and significance. The warm spring, with its therapeutic 88°F flow of 914 gallons per minute, continues to offer visitors the same healing ambiance that inspired FDR nearly a century ago. This story of renewal echoes the themes highlighted in this article , re  minding us that preserving history requires both vision and craftsmanship.
